My Story

Hi! I'm Patricia Lynn Hanrahan, the jewelery artist behind the brand that creates handmade artful jewelry with a vibrant soul.
I create each piece of jewelry in my one-person studio, so no pieces are exactly alike.
Working primarily in sterling silver and choose materials, I choose materials for their color, form, durability, and sustainability.
Vintage bakelite
My bakelite jewelry reimagines vintage bakelite with bursts of color, and adornments such as opal or wool felt inlay, 14k gold or sterling silver, and gemstones. I find sanding through the patina formed over many years to uncover a piece’s original color particularly satisfying, as the years melt away to reveal surprising colors underneath. Vintage bakelite hails from the 20’s through the 50’s, so when you wear bakelite, you carry a piece of history with you.
Resin, high-tech nano ceramic, and stone
Always interested in trying innovative materials, I work with the most durable resin available, rivaling enamel in hardness, embedding opal and wool felt. I discovered a high-tech nano ceramic that is harder than enamel and provides me with an unlimited color palette. Lately, I've been pairing the nano ceramic with neutral stones in iconic shapes, such the mother of pearl quatrefoil (clover).
A one-person studio
My bench where the magic happens. I can get absorbed for hours when I'm working on a piece. This space has had a lot of love!
